RESUMÉ (Curriculum Vitae)
(Current as of March 2008)
Jack Roberts is an American voice talent who lives and works in Britain .
Born in rural Pennsylvania, he pursued an early interest in broadcast media.
Jack's home-made station circa 1961. A happy melange of surplus items, recycled bits and a "mega" 3-watt transmitter from Allied Electronics.
However, upon completing University, the close attentions of Vietnam-era military conscription led him on a "short detour" into the US Air Force - which lasted 26 years! This period featured no "on-air" work, but lots of "in-air" work, flying the F-4 Phantom II, the F-111 "Aardvark," and the F-15 Eagle.
Upon completing his military career in 1993, Jack returned to his first love - the media. In 1995 his free-lance voicing business went full-time, just as he moved it to Britain. He now services many of his hundreds of global clients from his own digital sound studio outside London.
Jack speaks for leading commercial and promo clients , and for blue-chip corporate clients as detailed below. He's also frequently heard narrating documentaries across America, and around the world; several of his series have set ratings records for the networks involved .
