May 2008. Jack recently took a motorcycle trip to France with members of the Southeast Massive. He had a total blast!

Here's Jack and the Black Panther at Rider's Rest, a fantastic bike-oriented B&B in the Limousin region of France

Along with fantastic riding on twisty mountain roads, there was always time for great coffee and croissants, and of course "discussions."

It was a cloudy day as the group rode out, so Jack was in his rainproofs. But later the sun came out and 575 miles later, Jack was back home

The view from our hotel. The shadowy shape on the horizon is the Isle of Capri.

The brooding silhouette of "Il Vesuvio" on the horizon reminds one of the mighty, and sometimes destructive, powers of nature.

The beautiful Island of Capri. The limestone of the island tints the ocean water an unbelieveable blue. A lovely place to which we will return!

Jack is now back riding his beloved Black Panther. It was lovingly rebuilt by the Bike Smart people in Hayward's Heath and looks as good as new.

Jack has adopted a "Blue and Black" look for his new riding kit. He's also done a day's advanced training with a highly qualified riding instructor, who gave a fairly positive assessment and some excellent tips.

15th April 2007: Sadly, Jack had a bit of a ding, while riding with 8 biking colleagues. He is now healing quite well from 4 broken ribs and a shattered collarbone, now reinforced with a nice bit of Swiss steel.

Just before the incident in Sussex - a super day with a great bunch of folks - with a sad end! After: Looked ugly at first, but then again Jack is no model to start with.

October 2006: After a hiatus of 30 years, Jack is finding it a delight to be back on a motorcycle again. Here he is with his new toy...Awwwhhhh!

During parts of August and September 2006, Jack operated from his mobile studio in the Rocky Mountains of Colorado. Here are a few photos.
